Lodeira floating pontoon

The access to the pontoon, for those who coming from around the Fillaboa Island (one of the 14 islands in the Minho river, acquired by the Salvaterra do Minho council to create an environmental interpretation centre) is from the south side of the river against the current, passing under the bridge that connects Salvaterra do Minho to Monção, until you reach the floating pontoon, which is connected to a concrete ramp (an old pier) that, in the past as in the present, is used to let passengers on and off the boat.

This ramp is higher than the river level, making access to land difficult.

The Ladoeira floating pontoon is operational for mooring tourist boats and for river sports activities.
