Floating pontoon of the Clube Náutico de Ponte de Lima

O pontão flutuante do Clube Náutico de Ponte de Lima é um equipamento fluvial localizado na margem direita do rio Lima, frente ao centro histórico da vila. O pontão flutuante funciona como um ponto de acesso a todo o plano de água situado a montante do açude.

The floating pontoon of the Clube Náutico de Ponte de Lima is a fluvial facility located on the right bank of the river Lima, opposite the historic centre of Ponte de Lima. Access to this resource is by road, via the EN 201 national road. Coming from the town centre, you'll need to cross the Nossa Senhora da Guia Bridge, turn right at the roundabout onto Rua Dr. Francisco Abreu Maia and turn right again at 41º46'5.16"N 8º35'32.1"W, in the direction of Rua de Arcos de Limia, until you reach the intersection with Caminho de São Gonçalo. The Ponte de Lima Nautical Club pontoon is part of the Lagoas Ecovia and is located close to the International Garden Festival and the Municipal Swimming Pool.

This resource acts as an access point to the river Lima for the entire water plan upstream of it, since the weir is a barrier to navigation from downstream.

There are a number of sporting and recreational activities that can be done from this part of the river: canoeing, stand-up paddling and a trip on the Água-Arriba boat.
