To access this resource, we take the national road N203, between Ponte de Lima and Ponte da Barca. Follow this national road to Rua da Bemposta, turning right at coordinates 41.79781 -8.46727. Continue along Rua Bemposta until the coordinates 41.79918, -8.47017, crossing Rua do Rio on the left.
Go down Rua do Rio (considerable slope) and 200 metres from a sharp bend you'll find the car park.
The Pontão Flutuante da Bemposta is located on the Lima river. This facility is close to the Lima river ecovia and is a mandatory crossing point for descending the river in kayake organised by local companies specialising in this type of activity.
