Bread is one of the most important foods in our daily lives. This Museum, located in a primary school in Outeiro Parish, in Viana do Castelo, will teach you a little of its history. Here you can see agricultural tools and learn about the entire process involved in making bread, from fertilising the land, planting, harvesting and storing the grain. The museum has an oven for baking the traditional corn bread. To try it with mountain honey, just book your visit a little ahead of time. On the way out, around 500 metres away, you can visit a working water mill. If you enjoy hiking, a 14-kilometre trail begins at the museum. It is an alternative way of getting to know the people of the land, on an ecological, religious and scenic trip.
